2019 Toyota RAV4
Toyota Motor Corp. is reloading in the industry’s biggest segment with a redesigned, fifth-generation RAV4 that will debut during the 2018 New York Auto Show this month.
Toyota on Tuesday released an image showing the 2019 RAV4’s silhouette.
The RAV4, last redesigned for the 2013 model year, was the nation’s best-selling crossover last year, overtaking the Honda CR-V, and was the fourth most-popular vehicle overall, behind three pickups: the Ford F series, Chevrolet Silverado and Ram.
U.S. sales of the RAV4 totaled 407,594 in 2017, and Toyota is adding more production capacity at a plant in Cambridge, Ontario, to build the compact crossover.
