Apple Is Offering A $50 Credit For iPhone Replacement Battery

Apple recently announced its plans to give customers a $ 50 credit who had to pay for a battery replacement if their iPhone 6 or newer model was out of warranty.

Apple has started alerting customers who own either an iPhone 6 or a newer model and had paid for a battery replacement for their iPhone that was out of warranty, and the service was performed at either an Apple Store, Apple Repair Center or an Apple Authorized Service Provider are now eligible for the $ 50 credit.

It seems the credit is available to owners of iPhone 6 or newer who replaced their battery in their iPhone between January 1, 2017 through December 2017. Anyone that was under warranty and replaced the battery will not fall under the $ 50 credit category.

Customers who are eligible for this credit will be contacted by Apple via email between the period of May 23rd through July 27th 2018. Reports state that qualified customers will receive their credit via electronic funds transfer or by the credit card that was used to pay for the battery.
