With “Fear the Wolves”, Focus Home Interactive and Vostok Games have announced a new “Battle Royale” shooter taking place around Chernobyl.

Focus Home Interactive and Vostok Games (“Survarium”) have announced the “Battle Royale” first-person shooter “Fear the Wolves” as part of the “What’s Next Next” event Consoles (presumably Xbox One and PlayStation 4) will appear. In 2018, an early access phase will also begin on the PC. The game is intended to provide a new perspective on the growing “Battle Royale” genre.

100 players stand alone or in groups against each other, this time in the radiation-contaminated Chernobyl. Another intense game mode is also intended to give the genre a new twist. Anomalies and the dynamically changing weather should also lead to a new threat. Along with a day-night cycle, this constantly forces survivors to adjust their strategies. Protective clothing also makes it possible to explore dangerous off-limit zones. And as if that was not enough, mutated creatures are made more difficult.
