The BlackBerry KEY2 LE is the newest smartphone from a household name in the industry to rock a hardware keyboard, but even though it was unveiled more than a year ago itself, there’s no sign of any sort of impending sequel. The same goes for the slightly higher-end and even older KEY2, which doesn’t necessarily mean these business-oriented bad boys are to be ignored nowadays.
If that doesn’t interest you, worry not, as the unlocked handset costs 100 bucks less than usual unactivated as well. Just keep in mind this particular variant on sale at Best Buy is exclusively compatible with GSM networks like AT&T and T-Mobile. In other words, there’s no CDMA support, which means you can’t purchase it at either $ 100 or $ 150 off and take it to Verizon or Sprint.
In case you’re wondering, the list price of the BlackBerry KEY2 LE isn’t exactly exorbitant, at $ 449.99, so being able to lower that to $ 299.99 with an upfront AT&T activation or $ 349.99 with absolutely no strings attached is pretty awesome.
